It's time to take the stage for Dress Rehearsal!

Dress rehearsals are a run-through of the show. They allow students to practice waiting backstage, entering and exiting the stage, any costume changes, and SO MUCH MORE! Dress Rehearsal is where we make sure there are no costume malfunctions. It's also a time to ensure hairstyles are secure and an excellent practice for make-up application!

We do not have regular classes this week as all of our TDW Staff will be camped out at the KHS Theatre preparing for this week's recitals!

What does the dress rehearsal process look like?

  1. Students should arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled time.

  2. Arrive at Kearney High School Theatre. Use DOOR 33. This door is on the west side of the school. You enter the parking lot from the entrance off of 30th avenue.

  3. Students should arrive with their hair and make-up already done.

  4. Stop at our check-in table and get checked in.

  5. Check-in staff will direct you to the assigned dressing area, where students will put on their costumes!

  6. The teacher will line students up and prepare them to take the stage.

  7. Don't forget the finale! The finale is the last dance and final bow of the show! Every student participates in the finale! Your dancer has a scheduled rehearsal for the finale. You'll see this on the dress rehearsal schedule.

  8. After performing, they will be released to their parents.
